Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer. It is usually played with 4 standard decks of cards, depending on the type of Blackjack game you are playing. The purpose of Blackjack is for a player to come as close to the number 21 without passing it, while still having a higher total than the Dealer. Before the player will receive any cards, he/she must first place a bet. Once the bet is made, the player will be dealt two cards, face up; the Dealer is also dealt two cards. The player wins the equivalent to the amount wagered if the total value of his/her cards is closer to 21 than the Dealer’s. The Player also wins if the Dealer goes over 21 and the Player has not “busted”. If the Player's total goes over 21, the Player loses the amount wagered.
